the breakfast was fabulous!!! it even included a mimosa.
The room was dated and cramped. the air conditioning was totally ineffectual. I sweated all night! repeated messages about checking in online was like harassment.

The location was excellent, directly across from the main train station. Friendly and helpful staff provided a Baselcard for free travel on the trams. I could take tram No. 11/8 from outside the front door straight to the main area in 10 minutes. The staff shared good advice on saving money and time.
Unfortunately, the radiator in my room was on full blast and I couldn't turn it off. I was on the first floor, directly above the entrance and opposite the main tram and bus station. This meant it was very busy and noisy all night.

I enjoyed a delicious light dinner at the hotel bar. The service was attentive. The breakfast offered a diverse selection of foods including hot dishes and fresh pastries. The dining area provided a calm ambiance.

My room was spacious and well-organized. It included air conditioning, very useful. The bathroom was particularly large and featured a useful heated towel rack for added convenience.

The lobby's decor was excellent. A pianist played in the hall during most hours, and this enhanced the hotel's character. The hotel had its parking area.

The hotel is very close to the railway station and trams, a great location. I appreciated the complimentary local transportation pass. The staff were friendly and professional , they were helpful.
The radiator in my room could not be turned off , it made the room a bit too warm.
